Intan is a 2006-2007 Indonesian soap opera that airs on RCTI daily. Written by Serena Luna and directed by Doddy Djanas. Produced by SinemArt Production, it stars Naysilla Mirdad, Dude Harlino, Glenn Alinskie, Ingka Noverita, Meriam Bellina, Nani Widjaja, Ninok Wiryono, Umar Lubis, Anwar Fuady, Nunu Datau, Farah Debby, Vera Detty, and Rama Michael. It airs at 18:00-19:00 WIB, 19:00-20:00 WITA, and 20:00-21:00 WIT.
Synopsis
Kasih is a girl from a rich family. Kasih fell in love with Fajar who is a boy from poor family. But their relationship was not sanctioned both sides. One day, Kasih knew herself pregnant. Fajar is willing to responsible. Fajar and Kasih got married. Kasih gave birth to a baby that named Intan. They lived barely adequate. Fajar decided to stop study at college and work to meet the needs of his family. But unfortunate against Fajar, an accident take his life. One day Kasih's parents found Kasih. They brought Kasih and remarried her with Dr. Frans. Kasih did not bring Intan with her (Intan was left with Lastri (Fajar's Mother)) Lastri was angry knew Kasih's marriage and departure. Lastri thought, Kasih had betrayed Fajar, Even would leave her baby.
Intan (Naysila Mirdad) has grown up. She grows as a girl who is innocent, fine and exceedingly has any great love for Lastri (Nani Widjaja). Lastri is very protective against Intan because she does not want Intan's future is damaged as future of her father, Fajar. But In the fact Lastri Forget about this and Intan is pregnant. Lastri then asks for responsibility of Ello (Glenn Alinskie) Intan's Close Friend. Originally ello is doubt, because he study in college. but finally Ello decide to marry Intan, Although Ello's Family reject it. After they marry, Intan moves to Ello's House. Intan who is innocent starts her new life with Mr. Arman (Anwar Fuady) Mrs. Nadine (Meriam Bellina) and both of Ello's Elder Brother, Jemmy (Manfreed) and Rommy (Rama Michael). Happiness doesn't last long for Intan. A few days after her marriage, Ello got accident and died. Nadine and Arman blame Intan cause of Ello's Death. Intan is evicted from Arman's House. Intan asks Arman to accept her lives at that house, at least until his son would be born. Intan gave birth to a son that named Rangga (Ryan Maladi) and Nadine who is helping Intan to hospital.
Intan's Early life at that house is not easy, because Nadine behave to persecute Intan. But Intan face her with patient and love. Intan treats Nadine as substitute of her mother who had deceased. Intan's Trait and Attitude finally make Nadine's heart thaw. Intan who feels not good because has stayed on her in-law's house. She wants to cost her son's life, she chooses an occupation as sales. Because of her occupation, Intan meets Rado (Dude Harlino). Intan then works on salon. The salon is owned by Rado's Mother, Wina (Nunu Datau). On this salon, Intan meets the assistant of salon owner, Lila (Ingka Noverita). Lila who also likes Rado is upset and tries to separate Intan and Rado. Meanwhile, Kasih who suffers kidney disease have to do kindey transplantation. But no donate is match.
Dr. Frans who doesn't want lose kasih, finnaly finds Intan for Intan donates her kidney to Kasih. Lastri is very angry when she knows this. Intan finally knows that Kasih is her mother and actually her mother hasn't deceased. Intan shock. But because of her heart's kindness, she is willing to donate her kidney. But her desire is rejected by Rado, Lastri, and Kasih. But in the end , because commitment a severe want to help her mother , Intan is willing to donate one of her kidney to Kasih.
After Kasih and Intan recovering from the operation , relationship between mother and child getting a little more closer .Although sometimes Lastri rejected, but Kasih continuously trying to apologize , and increasingly , Lastri's heart begin to thaw for the happiness of Intan, grandchild who very loved by her.
Controversy
Soap opera Intan is also accused as a plagiarism of Korean drama titled Be Strong Geum Soon. Although is accused of plagiarism, SinemArt did not recognize and include the original title of its Korean drama in the title credits.[1]
