The Institute de Technologie du Cambodge (Khmer: វិទ្យាស្ថានបច្ចេកវិទ្យាកម្ពុជា; ITC), also known as Techno (Khmer: តិចណូ), founded in 1964, is an institution in Cambodia whose function is to educate students in science, technology and engineering.
Education
ITC is one of Cambodia's highest education institutions. It currently offers the largest and most well known source[1] engineering program in Cambodia. The institution offers a full range of education and research programs in engineering to all of its students. Education programs are offered in both French and English. ITC has been steadily building its international standing by expanding the international features of its academic program, promoting faculty and student exchanges, and developing a reputation in research. ITC Faculty members are distinguished in both teaching and research activities. The institute has an established center for research and innovation to further promote unique research areas and cutting-edge research being undertaken at the institute. In the freshman undergraduate program, its students complete a foundation year before choosing their majors in the engineering program.

Admissions
The entrance exam is scheduled in the middle of October every year. Applicants must have passed high school exams and scored well in basic science to be admitted to the Institute.
Recruiting
Each year, 800 talented high school students from all over the country are recruited by the entrance exam committee.
Admission for graduate programs
ITC accepts students for Engineer’s, Bachelor’s and master's degrees in various fields of engineering for their continuing education to the graduate programs. Students should possess a grade point average (GPA) of not less than 2.5 together with the proficient score of French or English.
Tuition fee
The fees vary from program to program, ranging between 40,763,000 to 81,526,000 Riel per year. Special scholarships are also offered to students who are unable to afford turn and for merit.

Graduation requirements
Collect all credits, assignment, report, and thesis defence; students must pass French and English exam. Dual degree programs are also applying with some specializes and some universities in Europe such INSA Rène, INP Toulouse, etc.
Faculty, staff and students
The institution comprises 254 faculties, 3,500 undergraduate programs, and 200 graduate programs. Its ratio is about 14 students per lecturer.[2]
Organization and history
ITC comprises 5 faculties, Research center, School of graduate program, and Centre for multimedia and Cyber University. In 2014, ITC celebrated its 50th anniversary.

- Faculty of electrical and energy engineering Prospection production energy and energy distribution, Industrial maintenance and Manufacture engineering, telecommunications and Network design engineering, automation systems, control engineering and Robotics, power system, power distribution engineering and hydroelectric power plant, new energy development and energy conversion technology, electronics and power electronics, and Information Technology, Industrial maintenance and Manufacture engineering.

- Faculty of Water Resources covers the fields of hydrology, climate change, water resources, irrigation, land surveying, GIS, remote sensing, groundwater, urban drainage, water supply, waste water, and environment.

Academic committee
To keep the education, qualify, international partners from differences universities in Europe, Asia, authorities, and private sectors had been invited to join an annual meeting as board members to evaluate and endorse any curriculum designed, modification program, including the newly created academic programs. This committee has a 5-year term and will be renewed till 2018. There are two groups of board members, i.e., full membership has right to vote and inviting members have no right to vote but they can give a suggestion or recommendation to any changes. This committee is 12 HEIs from France, 2 from Japan, 1 from Thailand, 2 from Belgium and 2 from private sectors and one from authority. This committee sharing experiences about academic performance and recognition ITC education system.
Board of trustees (Board C.A)
The Council of Administration of ITC, or so-called board of trustees, had been established since 1994 under French Administration to ITC. The role of this board is to follow up the progress activities of group direction, endorse academic design curriculum, recognize new creation programs, and endorse the new budget and action plan proposed by the group of direction. This board has an annual meeting around the middle of June. It is composed of members from different stake holders such Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry, French Embassy, Japanese Embassy, the consulate of Belgium, JICA, Representative from Board of Consortium, Director of ITC, ITC alumni’s and other representatives from private sectors.
Research programs
In the last 5 years, 35 research projects were activated every year. Around 50 researchers are permanently conducting research in different backgrounds. Currently, ITC is under the policy of strengthening further its competitive research areas, supporting cutting-edge research, including the prioritized research programs linked to urban management, waste water, hydrology, irrigation, food safety, air quality, new energy, urbanization, robots, and ICT.
Corporate relationships
More than 80 higher education institutions from around the world have signed agreements with ITC. Most of the agreements are with colleges and universities in France, Belgium, Finland, Spain, Norway, Italia, Germany, Russia, Japan, Korea, China, and ASEAN countries. National and international companies, the private sector, and government agencies have partnerships with the ITC. École Polytechnique de Paris is the one among the strong partners of Grand-École in France had established its connection with ITC. Every year, several ITC students have been recruited to study with them. In the fiscal year 2015–2016 ITC sent 86 students and staff to continue their graduate programs within university partners in Japan, Europe, China, Korea, the ASEAN countries, and others.
