Infinity Train is an American animated short pilot created by Owen Dennis for Cartoon Network.[1] It follows Tulip (voiced by Ashley Johnson) and her companion One-One, which is composed by Glad-One and Sad-One (respectively voiced by Jeremy Crutchley and Dennis himself), in their journey through a seemingly infinite train with limitless possibilities to find a way to Tulip's home.

The pilot was released online through the official Cartoon Network YouTube channel on November 2, 2016, and has 2.4 million views as of June 16th, 2017. On February 11, 2017, it aired on Cartoon Network at 6:00 am and was watched by 0.703 million viewers.[2]

Tulip is a young girl trapped on a surreal train of possibly infinite length and internal dimensions. Some of the train cars are of relatively normal size but filled with puzzles that need to be solved to open the entrance to the next car; others contain entire kingdoms and mountain ranges. The train cars are inhabited by various surreal creatures, from robots to talking dogs.

The story begins In medias res after Tulip has been trapped on the train for about a week, without directly explaining how she got there. She is trying to advance through the train in hopes of finding a way off and getting home.

She is accompanied by a robot companion she met on the train, One-One – the size and shape of a basketball. He is actually two separate hemisphere-shaped robots that can combine to roll around: the "Glad-One" is utterly exuberant and optimistic, and the "Sad-One" is utterly morose and pessimistic. Tulip also has a glowing green number "53" on the palm of her right hand, but she has no idea how it got there or what it means. Despite the surreal nature of the infinity train, Tulip is adamantly rational and logical, insisting that there must be some underlying explanation for the situation she finds herself in.

The pilot focuses on Tulip and One-One’s journey through one particular train car that houses a kingdom of Corgis known as Corginia. Though Tulip hopes to pass through to the next car swiftly, the king Atticus asks for her help in warding off a shadowy monster that has been causing the kingdom's water to flood for about a week which is the same amount of time Tulip's number has appeared on her palm.

Tulip, One-One and Atticus cross the water and search for the monster, discovering it to only be a spider's shadow cast by a flood light, with the door to exit the train car nearby. Though initially happy to progress further, Tulip becomes much more upset to discover that the number on her palm has not changed, her journey appearing to move her no closer to home. Atticus attempts to comfort her, suggesting that she just needs the right push.

In a better mood, Tulip begins to suspect not all has been solved for Corgenia-a spider's shadow should not have caused any change in water level, and there was no apparent reason for the light it resided on. The trio discovers a broken pipe and an odd being upon investigating a light in the distance. Referred to as the "Steward" in the credits, it is made of a coiling mass of metal tentacles with a motionless mask for a face. Glad-One cheerfully greets the creature, hoping to just talk to it, and the Steward begins to open fire through machine guns in its eyes. Atticus charges at the creature and is swiftly knocked to the broken pipe. Tulip attempts to help him, but she is restrained by the Steward, who orders her to "return to [her] seat." Atticus shuts off the broken pipe, momentarily distracting the Steward, which gives Tulip a chance to hit it with the door. After a short struggle, the Steward sees One-One just as it's about to attack Tulip, and inexplicably flees through a hole in the "sky" of the train car. In its wake, Tulip's number has changed to "49". Tulip remarks that she thinks she has received her push.
