IndieGameStand is an online retailer that sells indie games. The site is well known for its optional pay what you want model,[1] where if the developer choses to, a portion of the proceeds from the game's sales go to charity.[2] Unlike similar models, such as Humble Bundle, the games are not offered in a bundle. Instead, IndieGameStand features a new independent game that customers can pay what they want for every 96 hours.[3] The game developers choose which charity they wish to donate the proceeds to.[4] As of June, 2017, the highest rated game on IndieGameStand is Redactem.[5]
As of May 2017 the website gives an error message pointing to a possible site closure.[6] On July 24, 2017 the site's domain name went offline.
