Harrison College is a privately held, for-profit college based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with 12 campuses in Indiana, Ohio, and North Carolina.[2] The college was founded as Indiana Business College in 1902 in Marion, Indiana. Harrison has graduated more than 80,000 students, with associate degrees, bachelor's degrees and certificates in more than 30 programs across six schools of study: business, criminal justice, health sciences, information technology, veterinary technology and The Chef’s Academy at Harrison College. Harrison was formerly accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), since the accreditation was de-recognized by the United States Department of Education on December 12, 2016.[1][3] It is approved to receive Title IV funding under a provisional Program Participation Agreement for 18 months beginning December 12, 2016 while it is seeking a new accreditor. Its baccalaureate nursing degree programs retain recognized accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.[4]
