Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal is one among the 20 IIITs proposed under the non-profit Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model by MHRD.MHRD,Govt. of India in collaboration with Govt. of Madhya Pradesh and Private industry partners intends to establish IIIT Bhopal on a N-PPP basis(Not for profit).The contribution made by Govt. of India,Govt. of Madhya Pradesh and Industry Partners will be in the ratio of 50:35:15.As of now the total capital cost is estimated to be INR 128 crores.Govt. has already identified 50 acres of land for setting up the permanent campus of IIIT.[1][2]
