The IACC (Indian Association of Clinical Cardiologists) is a non-profit association based in Kerala, India. It was established in the year 2008. Its mission is to promote clinical cardiology, preventive cardiology, and continuing medical education interests of clinical cardiologists across the country who promote primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases (CVD).
The IACC headquarters are in the in the city of Malappuram, Kerala. The association conducts an annual scientific session each year, known as IACCCON (Annual scientific sessions and conference of Indian Association of Clinical Cardiologists), during which its attendees hold discussions on topics related to the field of clinical cardiology, the first of which was held in April 2010.

Affiliations
The IACC internationally represents India at the World Heart Federation. It is also associated with the European Society of Cardiovascular Surgery.
Clinical Practice Guidelines
The IACC shares various clinical practice guidelines for the clinical cardiology profession, derived from evidence-based clinical trials data.These guidelines help to present all the relevant evidence on a particular clinical issue to physicians and help them weigh the benefits and risks of particular diagnostics or procedures.
It has worked with WHF to raise awareness among the people about cardiovascular diseases in India and how good nutrition diets can help reduced their occurrence[1]. In 2013, the IACC took action against lack of cardiological facilities in government hospitals[2], by urging the Health Minister to allow recruitment of clinical cardiologists in government hospitals. The IACC has also attempted to increase awareness about the impact of one’s environment on their heart, and how a healthy environment could prevent cardiovascular diseases[3].
