In Search of Gregory is a 1969 American drama film directed by Peter Wood and starring Julie Christie.[1]

Despite having a big name star like Christie, who at the time was one of the most popular and sought-after actresses in the world, the film only had a limited theatrical release (after being deemed so bad by test audiences, Universal decided to not give the film a wide release), garnering little to no attention. Christie only agreed to do the film because it was shot on location in the same area that her then-boyfriend, Warren Beatty, was filming The Only Game in Town with Elizabeth Taylor. That film, despite having two big name stars as well, met with a similar fate and was not widely released either.

Plot

Catherine Morelli goes to the latest wedding of her father, Max, who in turn wants to introduce her there to a potential suitor, Gregory Mulvey.
