Alfred Darlington (born Alfred Weisberg-Roberts, October 31, 1977), better known by his stage name Daedelus, is a producer based in Los Angeles, California. He is a part of the groups The Long Lost[3] and Adventure Time.[4] He is affiliated with the internet radio station Dublab.[5]

Early life

He attended the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music studying Jazz on Double Bass.[6]

Career

Daedelus released the album, Invention, on Plug Research in 2002.[7] The Household EP was released on Eastern Developments in 2003.[8] He also released The Weather, a collaborative album with Busdriver and Radioinactive, on Mush Records that year.[9]

He released the third solo album, Of Snowdonia, on Plug Research in 2004.[10] It was followed by another solo album, A Gent Agent, on Laboratory Instinct that year.[11]

His 2005 album, Exquisite Corpse, featured guest appearances from MF Doom, Mike Ladd, and TTC.[12] In the following year, he released Denies the Day's Demise on Mush Records.[13]

His 2008 album, Love to Make Music To,[14] and 2011 album, Bespoke, were both released on Ninja Tune.[15] He released the Righteous Fists of Harmony EP in 2010.[16] followed by The Light Brigade LP in 2014 [17] both on Brainfeeder . His studio album, Drown Out, was released on Anticon in 2013.[18]

2016 released Labyrinths an LP with vocal features and guest instrumentation on his own imprint Magical Properties.[19]
