List of ''Big Brother Canada'' houseguests (season 2)
The second Canadian edition of Big Brother featured a total of fifteen HouseGuests competing to win the $100,000 grand prize. They entered the house on February 27, 2014, 2014[1] and left on May 8, 2014.
Adel
Adel Elseri (born 1986) is from Edmonton, Alberta. A boilermaker by trade, Adel is also the inventor of “Tongue 2 Teeth,” a tongue-mounted toothbrush. In 2013 he appeared on the Canadian TV show Dragons' Den. He goes by the name Adel and nicknames 3douily (Pronounced Ah-dool-EE) and Delgato. While playing Big Brother, some of his fellow HouseGuests affectionately called him "Deli" and "spider-monkey" for his quick banter and excitable personality. Adel won HoH for the first time in week eight, following the instant eviction. He was evicted in week nine by a vote of 2-0. As a member of the jury, he voted for Jon to win the game.
Allison
Allison White (born 19 April 1988), is a 25-year-old healthcare professional from Lewisporte, Newfoundland and Labrador. On March 13, she was voted into the house as the Final Houseguest. Allison found the secret power of veto in week 6 and used it to save Sabrina from the block during week 7. On Day 51 houseguests were informed it was an instant eviction night and HOH winner Neda nominated Allison and Sabrina for eviction. Allison was unanimously voted out by a 4-0 vote. She voted for Jon to win the game.
Andrew
Andrew Gordon (born 10 April 1986), is a 27-year-old restaurant manager from Calgary, Alberta. He won the second HoH on Day 8. Andrew was nominated by Canada's votes in the fifth week. He was evicted by a vote of 7-2 on Day 36.
Anick
Anick Gervais (born 1985), is a 28-year-old reiki master from Hanmer, Ontario.[2] She described herself as being "eclectic, outgoing, and spiritual."[3] Anick hoped to help the HouseGuests achieve a "love revolution" during her time in the house, and often meditated.[4] She claimed to have no strategy, opting rather to "leave it to destiny."[5] While in the house, Anick failed to form strong bonds with her fellow HouseGuests. Several HouseGuests felt that Anick often attempted to "one-up them" and spoke too much.[6] She became the first HouseGuest to be evicted from the house in a unanimous vote on Day 8.[7]
Arlie
Arlie Shaban (born 1988), is a 25-year-old unemployed salesman from Stouffville, Ontario. He was evicted in Week 7 at the first time he had ever been nominated. [8] He voted for Jon to win the game.
Heather
Heather Decksheimer (born 1990), is a 22-year-old model agency coordinator from Barrhead, Alberta. She was nominated against Paul in week 3, and against Ika in week 4. Heather won HoH in week 6. Heather was nominated against Sabrina in week 8 and won the PoV to save herself. She was nominated against Jon in week 9. Heather was evicted by a vote of 1-0. She voted for Jon to win the game.
Ika
Ika Marie Wong (born 1984), is a 32-year-old hair stylist from Montego Bay, Jamaica, currently living in Thornhill, Ontario. In Week 3, Ika won Head of Household and chose to nominate Heather and Paul. Ika then secured her nominations by winning the Power of Veto for that week. The following week, Ika was backdoored by the HOH Rachelle in an 8-1 vote receiving one vote from her closest ally, Adel. Ika won the reward challenge in her final week, and chose a $5,000 cheque for herself rather than giving the other houseguests letters from home.
Wong returned for Season 5 along with Neda Kalantar. She placed 4th.
Jon
Jonathan "Jon" Pardy (born July 5, 1990), is a 23-year-old student from Clarenville, Newfoundland and Labrador. He was a hockey player for the Amherst Ramblers for 3 years. He played jr. A hockey where he was a defense men with over 200 penalty minutes and 10 points. He became the 8th HoH on Day 43 and nominated Rachelle and Sabrina. Jon won HoH again in week 8 and nominated Heather and Sabrina for eviction. Jon was nominated for the first time in week 9 against Heather, and won the final PoV to save himself. Jon won the final HoH and chose to evict his closest ally Neda. Jon won Big Brother Canada by a vote of 6-1, securing Arlie, Allison, Adel, Heather, Neda, and Canada's votes. He set the record for most competitions won in the Canadian version of the show with 6 wins. Since the end of Big Brother Canada, he has been dating fellow houseguest Neda.
Kenny
Kenneth "Kenny" Brain (born 1988), is a 25-year-old model from Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland and Labrador who lives in Montreal, Quebec. Kenny won the Power of Veto during week 2 and used it to take Neda off the block. He was nominated by Heather in week 6, and won the PoV to save himself. Kenny was evicted by a vote of 5-1 during the double eviction on Day 43.
Kyle
Kyle Shore (born 1989), is a 24-year-old Personal Trainer from Porters Lake, Nova Scotia. Kyle was the second HouseGuest to be evicted on Day 15 in a 9-1 vote against Paul.
Neda
Neda Kalantar (born September 17, 1991), is a 22-year-old freelance fashion stylist and T-shirt line owner (BLK & SAINT), from North Vancouver, British Columbia. She was nominated against Paul during week 2, but was taken off the block by POV winner Kenny in order to backdoor Kyle. Neda won Head of Household during the double eviction on Day 43, successfully backdooring Kenny after Arlie used the POV on Rachelle. On Day 51, Neda won her second Head of Household, and became this season's first houseguest to achieve multiple HOH wins. Subsequent to her win, Neda was sequestered and informed that it was an instant eviction. Upon returning she nominated Allison and Sabrina. Neda was evicted by her closest ally Jon after he won the final HOH. She voted for Jon to win the game.
Along with Ika Wong, she returned for Season 5 where she placed 11th.
Paul
Paul Jackson (born 1970), is a 43-year-old motivational speaker and consultant currently living in Toronto, Ontario.Paul was the first HOH of the season nominating Anick and Ika. On Day 22, Paul became the third evictee by a vote of 6-4.
Rachelle
Rachelle Diamond (born April 30, 1993), is a 21-year-old student from Edmonton, Alberta. She became HoH during week 4, and nominated Allison and Heather for eviction. After Allison won the veto, through Sabrina's persuasion, Rachelle nominated former ally Ika. She then aligned with the First Five alliance. Rachelle was nominated by Neda and Jon in week 6 and 7, but was vetoed by Arlie and Jon, respectively. Rachelle was evicted by a 3-0 vote on day 57 against her best ally Sabrina. She was the sole vote for Sabrina to win the game.
Sabrina
Sabrina Abbate (born 6 August 1988), is a 25-year-old makeup artist from Montreal, Quebec. She was nominated by Canada's votes in week 5. Sabrina broke the record for the most times being nominated with 6 nominations. Sabrina won her first HoH in week 9 and nominated Heather and Jon for eviction. Sabrina made the final and lost to Jon by a vote of 6 to 1. Rachelle was the only houseguest to vote for her to win.
Sarah
Sarah Miller (born 1981), is a 32-year-old mortgage broker from Langley, British Columbia. Sarah was evicted on Day 43 by a vote of 4-3.
