Idaho elections, 2018

A general election will be held in the U.S. state of Idaho on November 6, 2018. All of Idaho's executive officers will be up for election as well as both of Idaho's two seats in the United States House of Representatives.

Governor

Incumbent Republican Governor Butch Otter will not run for re-election to a fourth term.[1]

Lieutenant Governor

Incumbent Republican Lieutenant Governor Brad Little will not run for re-election to a third full term and will instead run for governor.[2]

State Senator Marv Hagedorn is running for the Republican nomination.[3]

State Representative Kelley Packer is running for the Republican nomination.[4]

Former State Representative Janice McGeachin is running for the Republican nomination.[4]

Perennial candidate Steve Pankey of Twin Falls is running for the Republican nomination.[5]

Former Idaho Republican Party Chair Stephen Yates (Idaho) is "exploring" a run for the Republican nomination.[6]

Attorney General

Incumbent Republican Attorney General Lawrence Wasden has not announced yet whether he will run for re-election to a fifth term.

Secretary of State

Incumbent Republican Secretary of State Lawerence Denney announced on April 19, 2017 that he will run for a second term.[7]

Treasurer

Incumbent Republican State Treasurer Ron Crane will not run for re-election to a sixth term.[8]

Kevin Jones, the owner of an investment company, is running for the Republican nomination.[9]

Controller

Incumbent Republican Controller Brandon D. Woolf has not announced yet whether he will run for re-election to a second full term.

Superintendent of Public Instruction

Incumbent Republican Superintendent of Public Instruction Sherri Ybarra announced on December 16, 2016 that she will running for re-election to a second term.[10]

Wilder School Superintendent Jeff Dillon has filed to run in the Republican primary on April 29, 2017. [11]

United States House of Representatives

Both of Idaho's two seats in the United States House of Representatives will be up for election in 2018.
