Yana Sergeyevna Romanova (Russian: Яна Серге́евна Романова, born 11 May 1983) is a retired Russian biathlete.
Career
Recipient of the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" I class (2014).
In may 2015, Yana Romanova made the statement about the end of sports career.[1]
In April 2016 Romanova became a candidate to participate in the primaries of the "United Russia" in the Omsk Oblast for the elections to the State Duma.[2]
In December 2016, IBU provisionally suspended her for doping violations during the 2014 Winter Olympics, along with Olga Vilukhina.[3]
