Ian Wiley (born May 5, 1968 in Chapelizod) is an Irish slalom canoeist who competed from the mid-1980s to the early 2000s (decade). Competing in three Summer Olympics, he earned his best finish of fifth in the K1 event in Atlanta in 1996.
Ian Wiley was educated in primary school at St. Mary’s Boys National School, Lucan and Chapelizod National School and secondary school at Coláiste Phádraig, a Christian Brothers school in Lucan, and studied marketing for two years at the Accountancy and Business College, Dublin but gave it up to concentrate on training for the Olympics.
He is the European Champion in K1 from 1996 in Augsburg.
