It was released on March 24, 1992 on Luke Records through their distribution deal with Atlantic Records and was mainly produced by Mike "Fresh" McCray. The album peaked at #52 on the Billboard 200 chart and #20 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
