Tiwa, or Lalung, is a Sino-Tibetan language of Assam in North East India.
Geographical distribution
Like most languages of the hill tribes of the northeast, Tiwa does not have its own script and is written in the Roman alphabet, occasionally in English and Assamese script. Tiwa is spoken in the following districts (Ethnologue).
