Hyperolius thomensis is a species of frog in the Hyperoliidae family. It is endemic to the island of São Tomé in São Tomé and Príncipe. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
They are found at an altitude of between 500 and 1,000 metres (1,600 and 3,300 ft).
the species was named by José Vicente Barbosa du Bocage in 1886
