Husnabad is a town in Siddipet district of the Indian state of Telangana. It was a part of the Karimnagar district before re-organisation of districts in the state. It is located in Husnabad mandal.[2] It is at the crossroads of major towns like Warangal on one side and Siddipet on the other side.And also other side Karimnagar and Jangaon . A local stream named Yellamma Cheruvu runs through it which is the source of the supply of tap-water to the townsfolk.[3]

Civic administration

Husnabad Nagar Panchayat was constituted in 2011 and has 20 election wards. The jurisdiction of the civic body is spread over an area of 24.06 km2 (9.29 sq mi).[1]. Suddala Chandraiah was the municipal chairman of Husnabad municipal council and Bolishetti Sudhakar as Vice Chairman both are representing TRS party who were won in 2014 elections.
