Harman Baweja (born 13 November 1981)[1] is an Indian actor. He debuted in Bollywood with Love Story 2050.

Early life

Baweja was born in Chandigarh to a film director and producer Pammi Baweja.[2] He attended the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai and then the University of California, Los Angeles.[3] In 2009, Baweja changed his name to Harman S Baweja following numerology. The "S" in his name is a tribute to his grandfather.[4]

Career

Baweja was credited as a producer for Hansal Mehta's Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai? which was a Box office bomb.[5]

In 2008 he made his acting debut with his father Harry Baweja's Sci-fi romance film Love Story 2050.[6] The film was a Box office bomb. In 2009, he appeared in the sports film Victory which was based on cricket.[7] Victory was also a Box office bomb. His third film was Ashutosh Gowariker's Rom-com What's Your Raashee which was a Box office bomb. His fourth film was Dishkiyaoon which failed to perform well at the Box office and was also a Box office bomb.

As per Box Office India Baweja's all four films as an actor were declared as "Disasters"[8]

Personal life

On 19 February 2014, Baweja confirmed being in a relationship with actress Bipasha Basu.[9] In December 2014, Basu had confirmed that they had broken up.[10]
