Humbug (Aboriginal)
In northern Australian Aboriginal communities to humbug is to make "unreasonable or excessive demands from family."[1] It is also used to refer to making unreasonable demands of people more generally, such as through street begging or sexual importuning. Not responding to requests can result in payback violence.[2]
