The Honor 9 is a flagship smartphone made by Honor, a smartphone brand under Huawei. It launched in June 2017 as a successor of the Huawei Honor 8 Pro within the Huawei Honor series. It is the direct successor to the Honor 8.
Huawei announced the first half of 2017 operating results in the afternoon of July 27, the first half to achieve sales income of 283.1 billion yuan, an increase of 15%, operating margin of 11%. Huawei smart phone shipments of 73.01 million units, an increase of 20.6%. Huawei Huawei Mate 9 / Mate 9 Pro shipments of more than 8.5 million units, Huawei P10 / P10 Plus series of more than 6 million units, listed less than a month Huawei Nova 2[2] / Nova 2 Plus shipments of more than 1 million units, and Huawei Honor 9 [3]sales also more than 1 million units.
