Huaichuan, Liuyang

Huaichuan Subdistrict (Chinese: 淮川街道; pinyin: Huaichuan Jiedao) is a Subdistrict in Liuyang City, Changsha City, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China. As of the 2000 census it had a population of 55,275 and an area of 5.2 square kilometers.[1]

Cityscape

The township is divided into 8 communities, the following areas: Chengxijie Community, Xizhengjie Community, Chaoyangjie Community, Beizhengjie Community, Xinbei Community, Beiyuan Community, Chengdong Community, and Liancheng Community (城西街社区、西正街社区、朝阳街社区、北正街社区、新北社区、北园社区、城东社区、联城社区).

Attractions

The Liuyang Confucian Temple (浏阳文庙) and the Ancestral Hall of Tan Sitong (谭嗣同祠) are famous tourist attractions.
