Princess Hteiktin Ma Lat, also Tin Tin Ma Lat (Burmese: ထိပ်တင်မလတ်; 13 October 1894 – 1965), is a Princess of Burma and one of the senior member of the Royal House of Konbaung.
She was the great-granddaughter of King Tharrawaddy and granddaughter of Prince Kanaung. Her father is Limbin Mintha (လင်းပင်မင်းသား), a prince of the Konbaung dynasty, and her mother was Princess Kin Me (Yenatha Khin Khin Gyi), Princess of Limbin.[1][2]
Biography
Hteiktin Ma Lat was borned as the second daughter of Prince Limbin and Princess Kin Me. she studied at Girl’s High School in Allahabad, India.
She married to Herbert Bellamy on 19 October 1921; he was a horse breeder and bookmaker of Bombay, Calcutta and Batavia also Singapore, manager at Maymyo Racecourse, and an orchid collector.[1] she gave birth to their only daughter, Yadana Nat-Mei in 1932.[3]
She met the German crown prince Wilhelm II, who thought her the most striking woman he encountered on his Asian tour.[4]
