Howard Springs is an unincorporated community in Lake County, California.^[1] It is located 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north-northeast of Whispering Pines,^[2] at an elevation of 2165 feet (660 m).^[1]

The name honors C.W. Howard who in 1877 opened the springs to the public.^[2]
