Hovamicrodon is a genus of hoverflies endemic to Madagascar. Hovamicrodon is distinguished by a particular type of scutellar calcar, being broad and blunt apically.[1] The four known species are:

- Hovamicrodon fuscipennis Keiser, 1971
- Hovamicrodon nubecula Keiser, 1971
- Hovamicrodon silvester Keiser, 1971
