Hotshot (Hangul: 핫샷; stylized as HOTSHOT), is a South Korean boy group formed by Star Crew Entertainment (formerly K.O Sound and Ardor & Able). They debuted on October 29, 2014, with their digital single "Take A Shot".[1] The group consists of six-members: Junhyuk, Timoteo, Taehyun, Sungwoon, Yoonsan and Hojung.
Over two years after their previous release, Hotshot announced their comeback as a five member-group due to member Ha Sungwoon's activities with Wanna One, with the release of the digital single, Jelly on July 15, 2017.[2][3]
Members
- Junhyuk (Hangul: 준혁), was born Choi Jun-hyuk (Hangul: 최준혁) on April 21, 1992 in Ulsan, South Korea.[4]
- Timoteo (Hangul: 티모테오), was born Kim Moon-gyu (Hangul: 김문규) on January 25, 1993. He is a former SM Entertainment trainee.[5] He trained together with SHINee Taemin and EXO Kai.[6] In 2006, he appeared on CSJH The Grace's "열정 (My Everything)" music video.[7]
- Taehyun (Hangul: 태현), formerly known as Kid Monster (Hangul: 키드 몬스터), was born Noh Tae-hyun (Hangul: 노태현) on October 15, 1993. He was part of Korean Krump crew, Monster Woo Fam.[8] In 2017, he represented Ardor & Able alongside Sungwoon on the Mnet survival show Produce 101, in which he was eliminated in 25th place.
- Sungwoon (Hangul: 성운), was born Ha Sung-woon (Hangul: 하성운) on March 22, 1994. In 2017, he represented Ardor & Able on the Mnet survival show Produce 101, in which he placed 11 overall, making it into the final line-up of Wanna One.
- Yoonsan (Hangul: 윤산), was born Yoon Sang-hyuk (Hangul: 윤상혁) on August 22, 1994.
- Hojung (Hangul: 호정), was born Go Ho-jung (Hangul: 고호정) on October 20, 1994.[9]
