Hotel Storchen is one of the oldest Swiss hotels, from 1357 is the first written record about it using the name "Hus zum Storchen" in the Zürich city tax archives. [1] The hotel offers attractive views and was visited by many celebrities including [2]

Reconstruction in 2017
In January 2017 started a lightning modification lasting only 6.5 weeks, where about 400 craftsmen were employed in the shift work for 6 days a week. [3] The entire building was modernized: lobby and bar on the ground floor, restaurant, banquet rooms and 35 rooms on the floors above.
