Hong Jingyu (洪静宇) (born 2 July 1984 in Beijing), also known as Jing Yu Hong, is a female professional badminton player from China who is a doubles and mixed specialist.[3] Jingyu started her badminton career at the age of 9.

At the age of 11, she has left home to train full-time at a professional sports center. In 2002, she was recognized for her abilities and was selected for the Chinese National Youth Team. After that she was selected to go to the China National 2nd Tier Team for Women Doubles. During her time with the National Team she had won several recognition and titles in China National Team and Individual tournaments.

In 2012 Hong Jingyu joined the EastBay Badminton Association and is representing the United States.[4]

BWF Grand Prix

The BWF Grand Prix has two level such as Grand Prix and Grand Prix Gold. It is a series of badminton tournaments, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF) since 2007.
