Hexaprotodon sivalensis is an extinct species of hippopotamus belonging to the genus Hexaprotodon which may includes today's pygmy hippopotamuses. It lived much of the Southern Asia starting Pliocene, died out at Pleistocene. It was one of the very few Asian hippopotamuses.
