Hethersett Academy, previously known as Hethersett High School, is a coeducational secondary school located in the village of Hethersett in the English county of Norfolk. It has around 700 pupils aged 11-16.
Upon an Ofsted inspection in March 2013, Hethersett High School was put in special measures because of the inability by the school to provide an "acceptable level of education". Mr John Catton was appointed as Consultant Headteacher in June 2013 to lead the school through a period of rapid improvement up to academy status. It was announced in July that the school would become an academy as part of the Inspiration Trust federation.[1] The school converted to academy status on 1 November 2013 and was renamed Hethersett Academy. Mr Stevens was then appointed head teacher/Principal.
The most recent Ofsted inspection in January 2016 graded the academy 'Outstanding'.[2]
