Herbert Finnigan (birth registered October→December 1889[1] circa-Christmas 1915 (aged circa-26)) birth registered in Wakefield district, was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1910s, playing at club level for Outwood Church ARLFC, and Wakefield Trinity (Heritage № 208), as a wing or centre, i.e. number 2 or 5, or, 3 or 4, he was killed during World War I, the first Wakefield Trinity player to die.[2]
