Henry Hayward

Henry Rudge Hayward (born about 1831), (died 1912) was Archdeacon of Cheltenham[1] from 1883[2] to[3] 1908.[4]

Hayward was educated at Abingdon School from 1840 until 1849 and Pembroke College, Oxford where he was a scholar from 1849-58 and a fellow from 1858-64,[5] and ordained in 1855.[6] After a curacy in Marlow,[7] he held incumbencies in Fawley[8] Lydiard Millicent from 1864-1881[9] and Cirencester from 1881-1898. He was a Residentiary Canon at Gloucester Cathedral from 1898 to his death.[10]
