"Heavydirtysoul" is a song written and recorded by American musical duo Twenty One Pilots. From their fourth studio album Blurryface, the song was released as a single on December 9, 2016.[4][5] The band uploaded an audio-only video of the song onto YouTube on May 17, 2015.

Music video

The music video for "Heavydirtysoul" was released on February 3, 2017. It begins with lead vocalist Tyler Joseph sitting in the back of a vehicle which is driving erratically down a highway. Josh Dun can be seen playing drums in the middle of the highway, his drum kit suddenly catches fire but he continues playing anyway. The vehicle that Joseph is in is heading towards Dun, and loses one of its wheels just before swerving to miss hitting him. It is shown briefly that the driver of the vehicle is an unknown figure in a black hoodie, presumably "Blurryface," a character created by the band. The sequence of Joseph riding past Dun is repeated as the car continues to spark from its missing tire. During the finale of the video, it is seen that the vehicle continues to fall apart due to Dun's drumming, and when the vehicle loses its roof and its doors, Joseph climbs on top of it and then jumps off near Dun as it explodes. The duo perform the remainder of the song in the highway during the night, surrounded by the car fire. The ending of the video shows the sun rising, and Joseph, along with the vehicle back to normal. The car that's used in the video is a grey Cadillac de Ville sedan.[6] The music video has over 33 million views as of May 2017.
