Harry Macqueen

Harry Macqueen (born 17 January 1984) is an English stage and screen actor, writer and filmmaker.

His professional debut was in Richard Linklater's 2008 film, Me and Orson Welles.[1] Other credits include Jed Quinn in EastEnders,[2] for BBC. He won Best Actor at the 2017 Madrid Film Festival.

Hinterland[3] was his debut feature film as a writer and director.[4] It was nominated Best British Feature at Raindance Film Festival 2014 [5] and in three categories including Best Debut Film at the Beijing International Film Festival 2015.

Harry won Best Supporting Actor at the Madrid International Film Festival 2017 [6], for his role in the film Provenance opposite Christian McKay and Charlotte Vega. Provenance won Best Film and Charlotte Vega was nominated for Best Lead Actress at that same festival.[7]

Provenance made its international debut at the London East End Film festival on 16 June 2017.[8]

He was long-listed for two BAFTA Awards in 2016.
