Harold A. 'Junior' Theriault (born January 1953) is a former Canadian politician and member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly, who represented the riding of Digby-Annapolis for the Nova Scotia Liberal Party from 2003 to 2013.[2]
Early life
Before entering public life, Theriault was employed in the commercial fishery for over 35 years.[3] He was actively involved in fisheries issues and served his community on many local organizations.
Political career
He was first elected in the 2003 election,[4] and was re-elected in 2006[5] and 2009.[6]
On June 29, 2012, Theriault announced that he will not be reoffering in the next provincial election.[3][7]
Personal life
He and his wife, Dianne, have five children.
