Hamid ul Haq (Urdu: حامدالحق; born 1 August 1964) is Pakistani politician who is currently a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, belonging to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Early life and education

Haq was born on 1 August 1964.[1]

He holds BSc degree in civil engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar in 1988.[2]

Political career

He first ran in 2002 general elections for the seat of Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from constituency PK-5 but was unsuccessful.[3]

Haq first ran in 2013 general elections for the seat of National Assembly of Pakistan and was successfully elected as its member from NA-2 (Peshawar-II) on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf platform.[2][4][5][6]
