Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken
Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken is a popular fried chicken restaurant in downtown Memphis, Tennessee. It has been featured on Food Channel television shows including The Best Thing I Ever Ate, $40 a Day with Rachael Ray and Man v. Food.[1] Fried chicken is the only entree offered and desserts include Southern pies such as pecan, chess, sweet potato and coconut.[2] Five locations have been reported[1]Nashville and Little Rock, Arkansas locations have been added.[3] The business is known for the hearse out front advertising "chicken worth dying for".[4] A red rooster also frequented the business.[5]
