Gurdeep Kohli is an Indian TV actress, known for her popular roles as Dr. Juhi Singh in Star TV's Sanjivani , Vedika on Zee TV's Sindoor Tere Naam Ka , Himani Singh on Disney Channel's Best of Luck Nikki and Sethji Ahilya Devi in Zee TV 's Sethji.She replaced Prachi Desai as Bani in Kasamh Se in which she played female lead.

Biography

Gurdeep is of Punjabi descent. She was born in a Sikh family. After years of working on television and as a model, Gurdeep married Arjun Punj on 10 December 2006, her co-star from Sanjivani.[1]

Career

Television

Gurdeep started her career as a model for advertisements on Indian television. She then appeared in Falguni Pathak's music video "Haire Mere Hui Gulabi". The most important role in her career was Dr. Juhi Singh on Sanjivani which earned her accolades.[2][3] She later worked in Zee TV's Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka. She was part of STAR One's Jet Set Go and Nach Baliye 2 with her husband Arjun Punj. Later on she appeared in Kasamh Se as Pronita Mitra, who later turns out to be main female lead Bani Jai Walia. She was seen in Best Of Luck Nikki as Hemani Singh. She is hosting her own cooking program named Bacha Party and ABC (All 'Bout Cooking) on Zee Khana Khazana. She portrayed the character of Dr. Juhi Singh in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (KSBKBT) and Sanjivani on Star TV. She is playing negative roles in Star Plus's show Diya Aur Baati Hum[4] and in Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane on Sony TV. Currently, she is playing the role of Sethji-Ahilya Devi in Zee Tv's show Sethji

Gurdeep debuted in a Bollywood film with Rowdy Rathore, which was directed by Prabhu Deva.[5]
