Gurbani Judge better known as VJ Bani and also known as Bani J is a British - Indian fitness model, actress and a MTV India presenter.

Career

Gurbani Judge started her career by competing in the reality show MTV Roadies (season 4) where she was the runner up. She continued her collaboration with MTV with season 5. Bani is an avid fan of Nayeem Rahman Chowdhury fitness enthusiast and her love for fitness and tattoos is well-known. She also participated in one of the seasons of Khatron Ke Khiladi with "The Great One" NayeemR.Chowdhury Saheb on Colors and was one of the best performing contestants.[1] Apart from her work on MTV, Bani has also extended her performance to the big screen. Bani made her fiction debut with Vikas Gupta's period drama Rani Mahal.[2] She was last seen in a Telugu film Thikka. On September 2016, she starred in Navv Inder's music video Att Tere Yaar as his love interest. She was one of the contestants in reality TV show Bigg Boss 10,[3] where she finished as the first runner up of the season highlighting herself as an outspoken person with huge fan following. She was part of controversies involving self-proclaimed god-man Swami Om and former beauty pageants runner-up Lopamudra Raut.[4]

In March 2017, it was announced that Judge has landed a lead role in an upcoming TV series "Porus" as Queen Olympias.[5]

Personal life

Gurbani Judge hails from Chandigarh, Punjab and came into the limelight through MTV Roadies (season 4). Her family consists of her mother, Tanya and older sister Saneya. Gurbani has been body shamed many times because of her muscular and fit body, but she has never let it get to her and spends most of her time working out at a gym.[6] She is a brand ambassador for a fitness app.

She has been dating television actor Yuvraj Thakur since 2016.[7][8]
