Gunturodu (English: Guntur Resident) is a 2017 Telugu action comedy film, produced by Sree Varun Atluri[2] on Claps & Whistles Entertainments banner[3] and directed by S.K. Satya.[4] Starring Manchu Manoj, Pragya Jaiswal[5] in the lead roles and music composed by DJ Vasanth.[6][7]
Plot
Kanna (Manch Manoj) is a hyper-emotional youngster of Guntur, who passes the time by hanging out with the group of friends. So, his father Suryanarayana (Rajendra Prasad) decides to make his marriage to set right him. Once in a match, Kanna falls in love with bride's friend Amrutha (Pragya Jaiswal) so he makes a lot of mess and cancels the engagement. After few funny incidents, he makes Amrutha also to fall in his love.
Seshu (Sampath Raj) a leading criminal lawyer highly short-tempered and egoistic person with the criminal mentality. One day, at a party, a tiff arises and Kanna beats up Seshu as he asked Kanna and his friends to vacate the party. Since Kanna has cake cream pasted on his face they don't recognize him. Seshu orders his men to find out and kill him at any cost. Things become complicated day by day when Seshu starts targeting Kanna & his father Suryanarayana and the scene become even more chaotic when Kanna comes to know Amrutha is none other than the sister of Seshu. Rest of the story is how Kanna escapes from Seshu's target and succeeds in his love.
