Gruppa krovi (Russian: Группа крови; English: blood type) is an album by the Soviet rock band Kino, first released in 1988.
History
After the Soviet release, the album was released in the United States in 1989 by Capitol Records.[3][4] The album's title song "Gruppa krovi", is an anti-war anthem. At the request of an American fan, the song was also translated and recorded in English as "Blood Type".[5]
This is the sixth studio album by Kino.

"Gruppa krovi" album's cover is reminiscent of post-war Russian avant-garde art of artists such as El Lissitzky.
Re-release
- In 1989, the album was released in the USA label «Gold Castle Records» on CDs and audio cassettes and vinyl by Gold Castle.
- November 21, 1989 and after remastering, the album was released in Japan on the label «Victor Musical Industries» CDs (including the 9th track "Passerby").
- In 1991, Russian Disc released the album on vinyl for the first time in the Soviet Union.
- In 1993, the album was re-released by label «GENERAL Records» on CDs without digital remastering. Circulation printed in Austria.
- In 1995, the album was re-released label MF records owened by Mikhail Fridman on CDs without digital remastering. Circulation printed in Germany.
- In 1996, the album was re-released digitally remastered label Moroz Records CDs and audio cassettes (with the 9th track "Passerby").
- In 2003, the album was reissued Moroz Records label as part of a box set collection which contained 15 CD.
- In 2012, the album was re-released on the label Moroz Records for Phonographs.
In popular culture
- "Gruppa krovi" is featured in the 2008 video game Grand Theft Auto IV.
