Bishopric
The diocese of Tamazuca (in Latin: Dioecesis Tamazucensis) is a suppressed and titular see of the Roman Catholic Church.[2] [3] It is presumed that the diocese of Tamazuca,[4] was centered on the ancient town Grimidi in today's Algeria.[5]
Today Tamazuca survives as a titular bishop and the current bishop is Peter Chung Soon-taek, of Seoul.[6] Known Bishops have included:
- Daciano (fl411) (A donatist bishop who attended the Catholoci/Donatist conference of 411.)
- Lucio (fl484) A catholic bishop who attended the 484 AD Synod called by Huneric the king of the Vandals.
- John Bernard McDowell (1966-2010)
- Peter Chung Soon-taek, (2013 - current)
