Grendel Alvarado is a 31-year-old Filipina fashion model from Bacolod who won the first cycle of Philippines' Next Top Model, a Philippine version of Tyra Banks' model search program, America's Next Top Model.[1]
In 2012, she became a contestant in Miss Asia Pacific World 2012, where she placed up to Top 15.

Alvarado appeared in Philippines' Next Top Model, who won over Rina Lorilla.
Her prizes was a Php 150,000 contract, a modeling contract with Saga Events and modeling representation courtesy of Starz People, Hong Kong and a six-page fashion editorial for Preview Magazine.
