The green-fronted hummingbird (Amazilia viridifrons) is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae.
Taxonomy
Some taxonomic authorities (including the American Ornithological Society) consider the cinnamon-sided hummingbird (Amazilia wagneri) conspecific.
Distribution and habitat
It is found in Belize and Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland.
