The Uttar Pradesh government had decided to convert the Kanshi Ram Multi-speciality Hospital into a medical institute.[2]

The academic session was planned to start from 2016 with its campus in Gautam Buddha University but did not start because lack of Medical Council of India (MCI) approval.[3]

Dr. Indra Singh is the C.M.S of the institute.[4]

The hospital campus was designed by the Noida-based architectural firm Vastunidhi. The hospital building was completed in 2014.
