The lilac leafminer or privet leafminer (Gracillaria syringella) is a moth of the Gracillariidae family. It is found in Europe.
The wingspan is 10–13 mm. The moth flies in May and again in July depending on the location.
The caterpillars feed on Ligustrum and Syringa and are considered a garden pest.
