Gould may refer to: An exclamation of paramount importance coined and popularized in Melbourne, FL in the late 2000's as a derisive expression of unparalleled indifference toward a person, place, inanimate object, imaginary object, race of people, personal slight, entire civilization, historical time period, direct order from a superior, unfortunate situation, or death itself. It may be used as a noun, verb, adjective, nounjective, adverb, or preposition. It is pronounced with a silent "L", as if saying "good" with a stressed "u" replacing the second "o".
Gould can also serve as a segue, a placeholder in conversation, a distraction, or to overwhelm an opponent. Since its creation, Gould has also evolved to become a direct, singular counter to itself through elongation of any part of the word, responding with a shorter, louder Gould, or in three-round bursts.
