GospelOnDeBeatz

Gospelondebeatz also known as Gospel Chinemeremu Obi (born; January 14, 1987) is a Nigerian born Music Producer and songwriter. He came to limelight after he produced "All of you[1]" which was the first track off off the Omo Baba Olowo Album by Davido.

Early life

Gospel started playing the drums at the age of 7 and the keyboard at the age of 9. His love for playing the keyboard and making beats grew as he played and performed in his parent’s church and at different concerts around his community. Gospel’s studio production skill and passion first gained expression at the age of 17 when he produced a ten-track gospel choir album for his parent’s church.

Business career

The entrepreneurial spirit in Gospel propels him to see beyond his comfort zone as he forges ahead to seize and maximize opportunities. He believes that hard work, consistency and dedication pays off which is why he is known to often say “Results cancels all insults” - a principle he also applies to his business. Gospel is a founding member of Africa’s premium band; Alternate Sound.

Production career

Gospel is responsible for a number of records that have emerged from Nigeria today. His sound is greatly influenced by Don Jazzy, Oskido and Timbaland

Besides being a producer, Gospel is also a versed music maestro with great keyboard skills and an uncanny ability to take a production from the four walls of a studio all the way to a live stage. With the aid of his live band; Alternate Sound, Gospel makes productions and beats that are digitally made in the studio come alive. Works like Iyanya’s “Oreo[18]”, Wizkid's “Ojuelegba[19]”, Praiz's "Sisi[20]" and several other live jam sessions by Alternate Sound lend credence to this
