Golmaal Again is an upcoming Indian action comedy film directed and co-produced by Rohit Shetty. It features Ajay Devgn and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles with Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Tabu, Prakash Raj, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu and Neil Nitin Mukesh in supporting roles. Golmaal Again is the fourth installment of the Golmaal film franchise.

The production of the film began in July 2016 and principal photography commenced in March 2017 in Mumbai. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release in October 2017, to coincide with Diwali.[1]

Development

In July 2016 Ajay Devgan and Rohit Shetty announced Golmaal 4, the fourth installment of Golmaal (film series) marking the completion of ten years of the first Golmaal (2006).

This films marks as the Devgn's tenth collaboration with the director after Zameen (2003), Golmaal (2006), Sunday (2008), Golmaal Returns (2008), All the Best: Fun Begins (2009), Golmaal 3 (2010), Singham (2011), Bol Bachchan (2012) and Singham Returns (2014).[2]

Casting

The previous cast of Golmaal series Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Tushar Kapoor and Kunal Khemu were included. But Kareena Kapoor was replaced by Parineeti Chopra in November 2016.[3][4] In late January 2017, Tabu was signed in for a crucial role.[5] In February 2017, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Prakash Raj were signed in the film.[6][7]

Filming

Principal photography commenced on 9 March 2017 in Mumbai at Yash Raj Studios.[8][9] The Mumbai schedule was wrapped on 2 April 2017.[10]

Release

20 October 2017 was announced as the release date of the film, coinciding with Diwali.[1] Golmaal Again is being released at the same time as Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar.[11]
