Golești is a commune located in Vâlcea County, Romania. It is composed of eleven villages: Aldești, Blidari, Coasta, Drăgănești, Gibești, Giurgiuveni, Opătești, Poenița, Popești (the commune centre), Tulei-Câmpeni and Vătășești.
