Gloria Votsis (born February 9, 1979) is an American actress. She is known for her small roles in several TV series such as Hawaii Five-0, The Gates, CSI, CSI: NY, CSI: Miami, Person of Interest, and Suburgatory. Votsis also had a starring role in the film The Education of Charlie Banks alongside Jesse Eisenberg. She also recurred as Alex Hunter on the USA drama White Collar.[1]

Early life

Gloria Votsis was born and grew up in Upstate New York to a self-professed "big Greek family". At the age of 17, she studied abroad for her senior year of high school in France and attended New York University upon graduating.[2]

Career

Votsis began her career starring in commercials, most notably several toothpaste commercials for Crest. From there she began starring in minor roles on TV shows. In 2010, she was cast as Vanessa Buckley in the short-lived TV series The Gates. The same year she began portraying Alex Hunter, a thief, in the USA Network series White Collar. She has appeared in nine episodes.[1]

Personal life

Votsis speaks French, Greek, and her native English fluently. She lives with her "handsome puggle" named Bernie.[2] Votsis married in 2016.[3]
